JITP had a great year in 2011. In addition to publishing fifty articles, the journal was accepted by two major indexers and produced three special issues. We hope the insights in the articles below—a “best of” from a variety of disciplines—will help you bring new depth, clarity, and compassion to all of your integral endeavors. Following the list is an overview of the journal’s activities in 2011 and an important announcement about changes to JITP’s 2012 publishing model.*
A new year is upon us and it’s time to realize your desire to fully enact the Integral Operating System in all aspects of your life by becoming an integral practitioner.  Fielding Graduate University’s (FGU) early application period is open, so now is the time to advance your personal and professional development through the only graduate-level program dedicated to Ken Wilber’s Integral Model.

FGU is a leader in distributed graduate-level learning and is a proud partner with Ken Wilber and Integral Institute in searching for ways to apply Integral Theory to the complex issues we face as humans. The Integral Studies (IS) certificate, Master’s in Organizational Management & Development (OMD), and doctoral program in Human & Organization Development (HOD), each offer students the unique opportunity to advance their knowledge and application of Integral Theory through a one of a kind education experience.

After the call, Ken commented that these were some of the best and most difficult questions he'd received in quite some time. So, instead of his standard prefatory remarks, he dove right in and addressed the following:

Call for Papers: Integral Religious Studies

This special issue will explore, develop, and articulate the nature of Integral Religious Studies in light of contemporary academic approaches to the study of religion and its contemplative dimensions. Authors will endeavor to lay new theoretical groundwork for the application of integral principles and concepts to various areas of religious studies, while also building upon existing integral scholarship relevant to the study of religion.
You know that beyond spiritual ideas and experiences, there is one thing that’s essential for our personal and collective evolution — an authentic transformative practice.
Integral Institute would like to welcome all the students who recently entered the fall 2011 Integral Studies program at Fielding Graduate University (FGU).  We extend our best wishes as you begin to deepen your knowledge and application of integral theory. Good luck with your studies and we look forward to following your progress along the way.

On Sunday, October 9, Andrew Cohen and Ken Wilber will come together for their third live Guru and Pandit event at Boulder Integral. Using Cohen’s new book, Evolutionary Enlightenment: A New Path to Spiritual Awakening, as a starting point—a book that Wilber calls “one of the most significant books on spirituality written in the postmodern world”—these two mystical pathfinders will explore why only a profound integration of timeless Being and dynamic Becoming can offer a spiritual realization that makes sense of life in today’s rapidly changing world.  For all other details, please click here
