Amir Ahmad Nasr

Hailing originally from North Africa and the Middle East, Amir Ahmad Nasr is a leading sociopolitical blogger-turned-writer, activist, and digital entrepreneur. He began his journey as a pro-democracy advocate in 2006 and proceeded to launch online initiatives that have so far gotten him featured in USA Today, The New Yorker, BBC, Reuters, The Guardian, The Huffington Post, Al Jazeera's English TV channel, German magazines and many more global media outlets. He's the curator of the online audio seminar The Future of Islam In the Age of New Media, and the author of the upcoming book, Islam: A Love Story – How Fundamentalism Stole My Mind, Broke My Heart, and Blogging Freed My Mystic Soul.
