I'd just bring up a slightly different concern than David does about driverless cars. David talks about who owns the data that is collected from them.... A concrete problem if driverless cars do become the norm is what happens to all the people employed by the car-with-a-driver? It's easy to say that nothing can be gained from suffering. It's easy to say that seeing anything useful in suffering is dwelling on negativity.
