Open Letter to the Integrallife Company

Stanley's picture
Some of the citizens of our community have not been able to not notice that it appears that the Integrallife Company has been woefully negligent in even trying to minimally protect its citizens by enforcing its own community guidelines lately. In the course of our sparing even Schalk has offered to help with this. Ok, Schalk might have just been sarcastic, but then again maybe not. I drafted a response to Schalk but noticed that it applies more to the Integrallife Company and our... Read More

My Opinion on the Marc Gafni Situation

john dupuy's picture
... This is a post that I wrote about 3 days ago, concerning Marc Gafni and the latest debacle. As a courtesy, I sent this post to Marc, saying that I am posting this and quoted the biblical reference Proverbs 27:6: Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. I immediately received a call from Marc, in which he threatened me with legal action and an internet campaign to discredit my character based on all of the personal information that he... Read More

Corey deVos's picture
(from KenWilber.com )... "This guy is brilliant." -Bill Clinton, speaking about Ken Wilber.... Ken Wilber's Response to the Marc Gafni Controversy

Ken Wilber's picture
Share...  ... I have been asked my opinion of Marc Gafni as a spiritual teacher, and in this case I am recommending that each person ought to make up their own mind, using their own conscience and intuition. Like most people, I find some very good things about Marc and some problematic things about Marc, which is not unusual with a fair number of prominent spiritual teachers. Each individual needs to navigate this territory using the best tools that he or she can.... The... Read More

Where I Stand

Robb Smith's picture
Share... Dear friends:... I found out about Bill Harryman’s allegations against Marc Gafni about 3 weeks ago. Though I was surprised that, like those of 5 years ago, they involved the intersection of sex and manipulation, at Integral Life we have for the past year been separating our activities from those of Marc. Our separation over the past year obviously did not derive from this recent scandal; long ago it became clear to us that we moved through the world in very... Read More

In Defense of Promiscuity

Jun Po Kelly Roshi's picture
Share Should spiritual teachers sleep with their students?  It seems this is a question whose time has come. ... Every worldview has a very strong option on this.  Red says “Of course!”  Amber usually says “No!”, but on occasion “Yes!” if the mythology permits it.  Orange will say “yes,” but that decision is related to “status” (both the teacher’s and the student’s).  Green screams... College: what a waste of time

kbd2005's picture
Would love it if someone could convince me otherwise.  I'm sorry.  I didn't realize it was my job to be talked down to like I was a disciple of the living Jesus (e.g. liberal arts professor).  What a horrible waste of time and money....

Update

Stanley's picture
The policy of the Integrallife Company’s report abuse division is;     “***Our policy is to respond to all support requests within two business days. ***”   I reported the abuse reposted below almost one week ago and Integrallife has failed to yet address or even acknowledge   my concerns, in violation of its own policy.   In my opinion, it is a sign of extremely unethical and sloppy business to violate one’s own policy.... Postmetaphysically Conceiving of Inter-Religious Resonance

Balder's picture
... Recently, I have been talking with Federico via email about my paper for the ITC 2010 conference ( Kingdom Come: Beyond Inclusivism and Pluralism, an Integral Postmetaphysical Invitation ).  Fede offered a generous, thoughtful "reading" and critique of my paper, and I wanted to post a portion of that discussion here and open up the topic to further inquiry in the IL community, if anyone is interested.  The content of our discussion is, I believe, pretty...
