Testimonials
From the very first conversation with Lisa, continuing through subsequent conversations, including the choice of James as my coach, and on into the actual Coaching experience with James, every step, every aspect of the program has truly exceeded my very very high expectations. The immediate rapport first with Lisa and subsequently with James is a credit to the organization, the process and above all the individuals and their commitment. What a pleasure and rewarding experience it all has been to work with such intuitive professionals. I could not be in a more heightened state of appreciation and gratitude, though I am one that believes there are no accidents, that we make our own luck, sometimes I wonder, just how lucky can one be?
It WAS NOT my original intention to go beyond the initial 3-session contract. But, now, I must confess I am “hooked.” The financial considerations for me are considerable, but not insurmountable. I think, I feel, and I want to continue; regardless of the allowances I may have to make in other aspects of my life. The foundation is solid and I do think I could, in my way, continue on my own, but I don’t want to, and further more is feels right to see the process through with James. I so value the perception and viewpoint of such a sensitive, insightful, empathetic, and professional fellow traveler. So, yes, I would like to continue. — JM
My coaching experience has given me a new and better perspective of my life and goals. I think Integral Coaching is a powerful catalyst for change and I am grateful for the experience. I am happy to be working with Huy Lam, and thankful for Lisa Frost for pairing us together. My self-awareness has definitely expanded and I am better able to handle my thoughts, emotions, and stress. My moods have been better and I’ve also started exercising more and quit smoking! — DL
I’ve been introduced to a word recently: “gobsmacked.” I have to use it in this circumstance to say that I was gobsmacked by the robustness of the integral coaching approach. As a coach myself, I could immediately see and feel the rigor, support, and ‘seeing as’ concept at work -- which goes way beyond a usual coaching container, in my view. As a result, I unleashed a deep reservoir of thoughts/feelings/needs in the first conversation that could only have happened with the trust I intuitively felt in my coach’s abilities. I frankly feel that I’ve leap-frogged several issues that were/are bound up together … not to say that they are things of the past, but to say that they’re in my active awareness and as such, within my grasp to change. I found the assignment of the enneagram self-assessment and the native perspectives assessment to be comforting after session 1, as I left session 1 with something tangible to do which turned out to be quite grounding. The metaphor offered in session 2 was another gobsmacked moment (isn’t that a great word?). Very powerful in objectifying a pattern I have, without negative judgment. It may have been good for me to hear/talk a little more about the New Way of Being in session 3, though I played a role in keeping the conversation on the Current Way of Being. — SB
