The Benefits of Subtle Body Practice

Why is it important to have a subtle body practice? The realm of the subtle body has both an internal and external correlate. So, whether you are feeling angry or happy inside, others can observe your behavior and often get clues to the way you are feeling. So, it’s important for us to be able to manage our internal states to keep ourselves acting skillfully in the world, and a subtle body practice can help with that. Huy Lam, a practitioner of various subtle body practices in the Martial Art traditions, shares his personal experiences of the benefits of his subtle body practice, and how it’s no longer a choice, rather, a necessity and responsibility for him to practice.
